Whale Watching on RIB

This is a exciting new tour.. we don’t need to say more!

Once you head out to the adventure at sea and search for wildlife on the whale watching tour of a lifetime on this express, small groups tour. Their specially crafted RIB boats get you closer and quicker to the whales and puffins than the bigger boats. These stable and safe boats also allow us to search a bigger area,, thus increasing your likely hood of viewing the whales, dolphins and bird life.
After our tour we sail back to Reykjavik, where we will take ride along the cities shore line, viewing it from the ocean. Including a stop at the harbour side of Iceland´s most famous building, the mesmerizing Harpa Concert Hall.

Tour highlights

  • Get as close to nature with the whales, puffins and wildlife as possible without disturbing them.
  • The RIB boats are fast and can cover a bigger search area than the classic whale watching boats.
  • Only 12 people per boat with expert whale guide for small group experience
  • Less time then the “Classic Whale Watching tour”, only 2 hours from harbour to harbour.
  • “Whale Guarantee”, If we are unlucky and can’t seem to find and whales you can try again for free on the classic tour.

Cancelations due to weather: We sometimes need to cancel the whale watching part of this tour due to winds in the main whale habitat area. In such an event we will offer you two choices.
The most fun one is: we take you on a Puffins & Reykjavík tour in the RIB boat with the addition of sailing between the islands of the coast AND you get to go on the Whale Watching Classic which is on a much bigger boat that can sail in stronger winds.). Or the more boring choice…a full refund. 🙂

Tracks are dependent on weather and trail conditions.
